US Technologies Test Pattern

US Technologies is the biggest company at Techno park, Trivandrum. The company is in a hurry to get the head count to around 30000 by 2010. As part of this drive they are recruiting all eligible candidates and the selection procedure seems to be easy and fair. The US Technologies test takes the following pattern in 2008.

 

The Written round has two sections. The aptitude part which is the first one generally has general aptitude questions from RS Agarwal. The second section is on English. It has a comprehension part that would be easy. A sentence correction part  which is tricky, is also included. This round totally has around 90 questions to be solved in 70 minutes.

The second round which is a GD is done in groups of 10. It was observed that students who were loud and clear were taken. The elimination rate was a bit high in this round. Only around 30 to 40 percentage managed to clear the GD. It's followed by a Case Study Discussion that was recently included. In this you would be given a senario and you would have to come out with a solution. We will soon provide more details on this.

The interview is a technical + HR one. You can expect questions from C for all branches. The computer science students would have to face more technical stuff however.
